Sydney Swans

So once again boring week. Mostly did school work seeing this is the last two weeks of class.


I did go to a Sydney Swans game. Which is Australian Football League. Which is not out foot ball and is not soccer. It like a mix of rugby and soccer. They can run with the ball but have to bounce it when they run over a certain distance. They can throw the ball to each other. They can also Kick the ball to each other. The object is to kick the ball into these four goal post. If you make it into the middle set it is 6 points other wise the outer set is 1. The game also has the delay time added to the end of each quarter so you have no idea when the quarter is going to end which make the last one really exciting. We were 3 points behind and the quarter had ended and were were in delay time and when scored six points for the win. This was super exciting cause the game was still going and one knew how much longer we had to hold the lead. In the end we one and everyone was ragging on the west coastys. On the train ride home this five year old that played during have time was ragging on some of the other team supports it was actually kind of funny cause they had nothing they could yell back at a five year old. So in his words"West coast you loosed!!"
